Between jobs and with 3 teenage kids what do you do? Most people find another job, but this plucky crew bought a boat from a slippery Greek and the rest of the year is a tale of seemingly wondrous new characters cast in various roles all conspiring to keep the crew off balance, but undeterred by weather, boat repairs and even the Gulf War, they make an entertaining voyage that keeps everyone from wondering about the future. This is not the way most families spend a transitional year, but it sure worked well for the Coleman's and for those of us who will never have the opportunity to do such an adventure, we get to read about it! It is engaging and fun to sail the Med with this crew!
