Wasn’t sure which of several publications would be best, was sold on this by the reviews which mentioned the use of other member’s journals. I must say that that, as well as the excellent choice of which passages to include amount to a really cohesive narrative which is much more novel-like than I would have imagined. This is apparently a new edition of the journals, most other abridgements being based on someone else’s older editing of the originals.
